Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
